Silver Creek has gone 9-1 against Corydon Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Silver Creek Dragons will square off against the Corydon Central Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Silver Creek has given up an average of 53 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
Silver Creek heads in on the heels of a playoff match on Friday. They fell just short of Seymour by a score of 57-54. The Dragons have struggled against the Owls recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Brandon Hunter, who posted 12 points and seven assists. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Dane Caldwell was another key player, shooting 71% from the field to rack up 12 points and eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Corydon Central). They took their contest on Thursday with ease, bagging an 81-49 victory over Springs Valley. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 21 points or more this season.
Silver Creek better keep an eye on Jack Fessel. He was instrumental in Corydon Central's win, going 7-for-9 en route to 17 points and five boards. Another player making a difference was T-Mac Wilkinson, who had four points in addition to nine rebounds and six assists.
Hunter wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Corydon Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 23 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.
The win made it two in a row for Corydon Central and bumps their season record up to 16-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points over those games. As for Silver Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-4.
Tuesday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Dane Sprigler and Fessel. Sprigler has been dynamite this season: he has averaged 16 points, 2.2 steals, and 2.3 assists. For his part, Fessel has averaged 14.6 points and 1.8 steals on 56.3% shooting.
Everything came up roses for Silver Creek against Corydon Central in their previous meeting last Friday, as the squad secured a 65-32 victory. In that contest, Silver Creek amassed a halftime lead of 39-15, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
