Basketball Recap: Cherokee Trail Beats Windsor for Their Fourth Straight Victory + How To Watch

Cherokee Trail extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday, bumping them up to 4-0. They put the hurt on the Windsor Wizards with a sharp 62-37 win. The Cougars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cherokee Trail to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aaliyah Broadus, who shot 47% from the field en route to 26 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. With that strong performance, Broadus is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. Another player making a difference was Chloe Cain, who posted 14 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, Windsor fell to 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since December 13, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Windsor lost, don't look at Gracie Worsley. Despite the final result, she went 9-for-22 to rack up 22 points and seven boards.
