Volleyball Recap: Commodore Perry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Commodore Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakeview Sailors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Commodore Perry took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 20-25, 22-25, 25-14, 15-1.

Commodore Perry's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.

Commodore Perry will take on Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeview does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
