Volleyball Recap: Lancaster's Loss Ends Nine-Game Winning Streak at Home + How To Watch

Lancaster managed to slip by Rappahannock the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Red Devils came up short against the Raiders on Tuesday, falling 3-0. Considering the last time the Red Devils couldn't score was back in September, the team can't take the result too hard.

While Lancaster ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-23.

Kelsie Cox paced Lancaster's offense, picking up eight kills. Cox got some help from Rory Lally and her 23 assists. Addison George controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Lancaster's loss ended a nine-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-5. As for Rappahannock, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-14.

Coming up, Rappahannock will take on Northumberland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lancaster will be paying especially close attention to the Raiders' contest: after the Raiders face off against the Indians, they'll take on Lancaster again at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
