Independence came into Tuesday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Centennial Titans on Tuesday. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 5-2 loss the last time these two teams met.

Independence's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Independence is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Heritage at 1:00 p.m. on March 18th. Centennial will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on March 25th.
