Volleyball Recap: Bishop Diego Has No Trouble Against Avalon

Bishop Diego came into Saturday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Avalon Lancers on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Bishop Diego took every set by at least 25 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Bishop Diego's victory bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Avalon, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bishop Diego will face off against Buena at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cardinals are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Avalon, they will challenge Calvary Chapel on Thursday.
