Recap: New Way Learning Academy Bulldogs vs. Arizona Cultural Academy Wolves
It was a good run, but the New Way Learning Academy Bulldogs unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 53-41 to Arizona Cultural Academy.
Arizona Cultural Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mahdy Abdeljaber, who scored 17 points. Abdeljaber hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Salmaan Hashim was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
New Way Learning Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Arizona Cultural Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
New Way Learning Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Academy with Community Partners at 4:30 p.m. Academy with Community Partners is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Arizona Cultural Academy, they will challenge Tri-City Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Tri-City Christian Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 418 points over their last seven games.
