Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

Skyline lost against Attica back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Skyline Thunderbirds were dealt a 69-17 loss at the hands of the Attica Bulldogs. The Thunderbirds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-5.

Attica got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zoie Redgate out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 24 points and nine rebounds. Redgate has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 39 times she's played. Cady Hemphill was another key player, going 10-for-20 to rack up 23 points and six steals.

Skyline's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10-2. As for Attica, their victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Skyline has already played their next contest, a 37-32 loss against Cunningham on the 14th. As for Attica, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 31-26 win against Norwich on the 14th.
