Basketball Recap: Loretto's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Loretto had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 26-19 win over the Gadsden Panthers. This was payback for the Angels, who suffered a 40-17 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Loretto's victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-6. As for Gadsden, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Loretto wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-30 defeat against Canutillo on the 7th. Gadsden has also already played their next match, a 52-33 win against Fabens on the 7th.
