Elkhart won the last time they faced Northridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Elkhart had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-17.

Ava Walker went supernova, getting 13 digs and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August of 2024.

They weren't the only good servers: Elkhart was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northridge only served seven.

Despite the loss, Northridge still got an impressive performance from Molly Nickell, who had 12 digs and two aces. Nickell has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Elkhart's record is now 21-9. As for Northridge, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Elkhart will square off against Mishawaka Marian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northridge, they will face off against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
