Volleyball Recap: Sonoraville Beats Cass for Their Sixth Straight Win

Sonoraville entered their tilt with Cass on Tuesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Colonels. That's more bragging rights for the Phoenix, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brylee Cordell paced Sonoraville's offense, picking up seven kills. Cordell got some help from Jenica Glosson and her 14 assists. Glosson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with seven aces.

Sonoraville's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Cass, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Sonoraville will head out on the road to challenge Christian Heritage at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cass, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Adairsville on the 19th.
