Silver Creek is 9-1 against North Harrison since June of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Dragons will take on the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Silver Creek is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Silver Creek came out on top against Columbus North on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run second inning. The Dragons won by a run and slipped past the Bull Dogs 6-5. The game was the first time the Dragons have beaten the Bull Dogs on their field since April 15, 2023.

New Albany hit North Harrison with a five-run seventh inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cougars came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 8-1. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Silver Creek's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for North Harrison, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-6.

Silver Creek beat North Harrison 4-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
