Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fairfax). They were the clear victor by a 10-1 margin over the Westchester Comets on Friday. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by three goals or more this season.

The victory (which was Fairfax's third in a row) raised their record to 13-4-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those three matchups. As for Westchester, they dropped their record down to 0-11 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Fairfax and Westchester could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Fairfax will square off against Venice at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday down 167 places (283 vs. 116). Similarly, Westchester (ranked 1190th) will meet Palisades (ranked 67th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
