Volleyball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Carlisle was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Varsity Opponent last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chiefs lost 3-0 to the North Cross Raiders on Tuesday. The Chiefs have struggled against the Raiders recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-11, 25-18.

Carlisle's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for North Cross, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle will host Southwest Virginia Academy at 6:00 p.m. on September 4. As for North Cross, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Westover Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
