Softball Recap: Freedom Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Freedom was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Osbourn Park Yellowjackets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 back in April.

Riley Picinich spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on eight hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emory Picinich, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Jordan Miller was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Freedom's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-11. As for Osbourn Park, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-6.
