With a playoff win on the line, Mineola rose to the challenge on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Redwater Dragons as they made off with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Yellowjackets, who have now won 18 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Journie Wilson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 14 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.
