Volleyball Recap: Christian Brothers Academy Victorious

Christian Brothers Academy posted their closest win since April 7th on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Colts Neck Cougars, sneaking past 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Colts: when they faced off against the Cougars on Tuesday, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Christian Brothers Academy who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 28-26, 22-25, 25-18.

Sean Kennedy paced Christian Brothers Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kennedy got some help from Jake Tarzian and his 25 assists.

The victory made it two in a row for Christian Brothers Academy and bumps their season record up to 7-9. As for Colts Neck, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7.

Christian Brothers Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colts Neck, they will head out to challenge Marlboro at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
