Basketball Recap: Hudson Roberson Key Part of Team Effort in Raiders Win

There's no place like home for Hobgood Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Cape Hatteras Hurricanes by a score of 58-48 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Raiders: when they faced off against the Hurricanes back in January, they had to take a 51-48 loss.

Hobgood Charter's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Roberson, who went 6-for-14 to rack up 15 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. The match was Roberson's seventh in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jameson Moore, who posted 11 points.

Despite the loss, Cape Hatteras still got an impressive performance from Ty Stephens, who went 8-for-17 on his way to 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Preston Stowe was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Hobgood Charter's record now sits at 7-11. As for Cape Hatteras, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
