Castle waltzed into their contest on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Evansville Reitz Panthers with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-18.

Jada Ailstock paced Castle's offense, picking up 13 kills. Ailstock got some help from Alexus Shepherd and her 30 assists. Gabby Korba controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Castle's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Evansville Reitz, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Castle will be playing at home against Jasper at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Evansville Reitz, they will venture away from home to challenge Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
