Football Game Preview: Constantine Falcons vs. Allegan Tigers

Constantine is a perfect 4-0 against Allegan since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Falcons will head out to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Allegan took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Constantine, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Constantine didn't have too much trouble with South Haven as they won 39-25. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Falcons' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 145th, while the Rams are ranked 308th).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-10, which was the final score in Allegan's tilt against Hackett Catholic Prep on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Fighting Irish: they've now lost four in a row.

Constantine pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 38.3 points over those games. As for Allegan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Constantine against Allegan in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 51-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
