San Gabriel Valley recap Nov. 7, 2012

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Paramount, who took down 176th ranked Paramount, 21-13.

Dominguez moved up to 378 from 486 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in San Gabriel Valley. The Dons climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Pirates 21-13.

Joshy Hollins and Alex Kline gave Gahr a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Hollins threw for 230 yards and three touchdowns, while Kline ran for 175 yards. Teammate Quinton Martin added to the ground attack by rushing for 25 yards.

THADDEUS DANIELS was the best wideout in the league this week as Lynwood fell to Downey. DANIELS racked up four receptions for 104 yards.

The Gladiators' Caleb Baumann and Christian Pabico have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Baumann has thrown for 2373 yards this season, while Pabico, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 40 catches for 832 yards. Justin Huff from the Vikings leads the league in rushing with 1538 yards.

Downey and the Knights played the most hotly contested game in San Gabriel Valley this week, with Downey eventually emerging with a 31-26 victory. Jorge Reyna threw for 77 yards and one touchdown and ran for 97 yards in the win.
