Volleyball Game Preview: O'Gorman Knights vs. Harrisburg Tigers

The O'Gorman Knights will square off against the Harrisburg Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with O'Gorman sitting on nine straight victories and Harrisburg on 17.

O'Gorman had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Pierre T.F. Riggs on Friday. The Knights put the hurt on the Governors with a sharp 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant O'Gorman was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-10, 25-9.

Meanwhile, Harrisburg earned a 2-0 victory over Douglas on Saturday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Harrisburg took both sets by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9.

O'Gorman better focus on containing Avery Klein and Kennedy Kokenge as the pair were huge in Harrisburg's win. Klein had six digs and two aces, while Kokenge had seven digs and two aces. What's more, Klein racked up ten assists, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Mckinnley Munce also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

O'Gorman's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Harrisburg, their victory bumped their record up to 28-2.
