Basketball Recap: Poudre Falls Despite Big Games from Blake Brewster and Leaf Steinhauser

The Poudre Impalas came up short against the Xaverian Clippers on Friday and fell 53-41. The Impalas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leaf Steinhauser and Blake Brewster certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Steinhauser went 7-for-12 en route to 18 points, while Brewster posted ten points.

Poudre's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Xaverian, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Poudre wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-53 defeat against Riverdale Ridge on the 6th. As for Xaverian, they have also already played their next game, a 52-38 victory against Fort Collins on the 6th.
