Soccer Game Preview: Gering vs. Douglas

Gering is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Douglas a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Gering Bulldogs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Douglas Bearcats at 5:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Gering didn't have quite enough to beat South and fell 3-2.

Dominic Mendez and Jayden Hakert scored both of the Bulldogs' goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Meanwhile, Douglas managed to keep up with Worland until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Bearcats lost 5-0 to the Warriors.

Gering's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Douglas, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
