Soccer Game Preview: Delmar vs. Caesar Rodney

Delmar hasn't had much luck against Caesar Rodney recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Wildcats are taking a road trip to square off against the Riders at 5:30 p.m.

Delmar fell victim to Milford and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Buccaneers by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Caesar Rodney faced Indian River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Riders never let the Indians get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Give Caesar Rodney's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Delmar's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Caesar Rodney, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Delmar might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Caesar Rodney when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
