Basketball Game Preview: Ransom Everglades Raiders vs. Edison Red Raiders

The Ransom Everglades Raiders will take on the Edison Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Ransom Everglades had to suffer through a 70-34 loss at the hands of Palmer Trinity. The defeat continues a trend for the Raiders in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost six in a row.

Edison fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They managed a 57-53 victory over Booker T. Washington on Thursday.

Ransom Everglades better focus on containing Jean Viterlens Joseph and Lucas Reynolds as the pair were huge in Edison's win. Joseph dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Reynolds went 5 of 9 on his way to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Steven Juarez, who posted 11 points.

Edison's win bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Ransom Everglades, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.
