Oak Ridge extended their postseason success on Saturday against Del Oro. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Golden Eagles 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Golden Eagles back in April, they had to take a 4-2 defeat.

Ellison Schroeder spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits.

At the plate, Emery Glaser was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Oak Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Del Oro, they moved to 33-2 with that loss, which also ended their 17-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Oak Ridge nor the Golden Eagles have any future games scheduled.
