Volleyball Recap: Cerritos Starts off Right with Win over Garden Grove

Cerritos had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They put the hurt on the Garden Grove Argonauts with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Cerritos took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-15.

Garden Grove dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Cerritos will head out on the road to challenge Bellflower at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Garden Grove, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Loara at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
