Soccer Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Independence Eagles. If Centennial were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to Independence when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Centennial now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Independence, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Centennial will take on rival Ravenwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Independence is set to challenge their familiar foe Page at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
