It's playoff time, and St. Mary had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. The win was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on five straight.

St. Mary's not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kellenberg Memorial between 15 and 16 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

St. Mary's was led to victory by Sarina Notaro and Brooke Moore. Notaro had 14 digs and two assists, while Moore had six digs and four aces. That's the most aces Moore has posted over her last five contests.

Kellenberg Memorial's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Julianna Lucie, who had eight digs and four aces.

St. Mary's victory bumped their record up to 38-1-2. As for Kellenberg Memorial, their defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 21-5.

St. Mary's wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Xaverian on the 8th. Kellenberg Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
