Softball Recap: Bunnell Comes Up Short

Bunnell couldn't beat Shelton on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Bulldogs took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gaels. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bunnell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Shea Toth, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. Bella Caramanica was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Bunnell's record now sits at 11-11. As for Shelton, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Bunnell nor Shelton have any future games scheduled.
