Basketball Recap: Colony's Win on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Colony entered their tilt with King/Drew on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 54-51 win over the King/Drew Golden Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since December 14, 2024.

Colony's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for King/Drew, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colony will square off against Alta Loma at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Alta Loma knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Colony likes a good challenge. As for King/Drew, they will venture away from home to challenge George Washington Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
