Baseball Recap: Ogemaw Heights Takes a Loss

Ogemaw Heights and Pinconning pushed the score to 12-8 the last time they played Pinconning, but on Tuesday defenses reigned supreme. The Falcons fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Wyatt Biskup spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Ogemaw Heights saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angel Potter, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Ogemaw Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Pinconning, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ogemaw Heights will venture away from home to take on Beaverton at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pinconning, they will take on Harrison at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
