Soccer Recap: Torrington Takes a Loss

Torrington was the 2-0 winner over Ansonia when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Raiders fell just short of the Chargers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday.

Torrington's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Ansonia, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Coming up, Torrington will take on Wolcott at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ansonia, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Waterbury Career Academy on the 26th.
