Baseball Recap: Biglerville Comes Up Short

The Biglerville Canners came up short against the West Perry Mustangs on Monday and fell 5-2.

Aiden Hoffman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two doubles. Caleb Woolson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Biglerville's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for West Perry, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Biglerville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Perry, they will take on Bermudian Springs at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
