Soccer Recap: Eau Claire Comes Up Short

Eau Claire was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mid-Carolina Rebels, falling 11-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Eau Claire were already down 5-1.

Eau Claire's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mid-Carolina, the win keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Looking ahead, Mid-Carolina will take on Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Newberry will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mid-Carolina surely won't give up without a fight. Eau Claire will be paying especially close attention to Mid-Carolina's game: after Mid-Carolina faces off against Newberry, they'll take on Eau Claire again at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
