Basketball Game Preview: Cheraw Wolverines vs. Swink Lions

The Cheraw Wolverines and the Swink Lions will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. The timing is sure in Cheraw's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Swink has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Friday, Cheraw didn't have too much trouble with Kit Carson as they won 51-36.

Meanwhile, Swink came up short against Fowler on Friday and fell 53-42. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Grizzlies are ranked 110th).

Swink's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Cheraw, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
