Volleyball Recap: Parker Comes Up Short

Parker and Northwest Christian squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Parker had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Crusaders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Crusaders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 25-11.

Northwest Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brooks Martin out in front who had nine digs and five aces. Another player making a difference was Trace Martin, who had 14 assists and three digs.

Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Northwest Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-8.

Parker does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northwest Christian, they will square off against Seton Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sentinels will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
