Football Recap: Briggsdale Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against North Park last Saturday, Briggsdale came back down to earth. The Falcons were dealt a 78-33 defeat at the hands of the Fleming Wildcats on Friday. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 66-28 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Scot Francis threw for 139 yards on 12 of 22 attempts. Val Alvarez was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.

Briggsdale has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Fleming, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-4.

Coming up, Briggsdale will venture away from home to challenge Caliche at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fleming has already played their next contest (against Idalia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
