Recap: Pigeon Forge Tigers vs. Gibbs Eagles

The Pigeon Forge Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Gibbs, falling 73-46. Zack Turner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Gibbs, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 assists. The contest was Turner's 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamen Shown, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.

Pigeon Forge's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 3-9. As for Gibbs, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pigeon Forge will take on Gatlinburg-Pittman at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gibbs won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seymour at 7:30 p.m. on January 5th.
