The third road matchup was the charm for Belleville, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-42 win over the Fitzgerald Spartans on Saturday. Those 45 points were actually the fewest the Tigers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Belleville's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Fitzgerald, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Belleville and River Rouge will round out the year against one another at 5:15 p.m. on the 28th. As for Fitzgerald, they will be home for the holidays to greet Catholic Central at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will be up against the Shamrocks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 54.83 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
