Basketball Recap: Valley Heights Comes Up Short

Valley Heights lost against Axtell back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Valley Heights Mustangs were dealt a 54-27 loss at the hands of the Axtell Eagles.

Valley Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Valley Heights will face off against Riley County on Friday. As for Axtell, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Washington County at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
