Recap: East Grand Rapids vs. Wyoming
On Friday, the East Grand Rapids Pioneers were out to avenge their 88-60 defeat to the Wyoming Wolves from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. The contest between them was not particularly close, with Grand Rapids falling 81-66. This makes it the second loss in a row for them.
The Pioneers' defeat pushed them down to 12-6. The win -- their ninth in a row -- raised Wyoming's record to 16-1.
The Pioneers will stay at home against Thornapple Kellogg next week. Grand Rapids has the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency. Wyoming will be playing in front of their home fans against Thornapple Kellogg on Tuesday. Unlike Wyoming, Thornapple Kellogg will be stumbling in off of a defeat.
