Baseball Recap: Metea Valley Comes Up Short

Metea Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Naperville Central Redhawks. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Redhawks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-5 loss two weeks ago.

Metea Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 12-21. As for Naperville Central, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season.

Metea Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-2 loss against Glenbard East on the 23rd. Naperville Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
