Soccer Recap: Geraldine Takes a Loss

Geraldine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Collinsville Panthers, falling 9-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Collinsville this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-0 loss back in March.

Geraldine's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10-1. As for Collinsville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3-1 record this season.

Geraldine will head out on the road to square off against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Collinsville, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 4-0 victory against Crossville on the 5th.
