Volleyball Recap: West Florence Comes Up Short

West Florence lost against Ridge View back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Knights fell just short of the Blazers by a score of 2-1. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Drew Wilson paced West Florence's offense, picking up 12 kills. Wilson got some help from Wells McBride and his 29 assists. Wilson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

West Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Ridge View, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.

West Florence has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Sumter on the 2nd. As for Ridge View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Airport on the 7th.
