Basketball Recap: Emerson Comes Up Short

Emerson was the 52-45 winner over Strong when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Emerson Pirates took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Strong Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Emerson's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Strong, the victory snapped their losing streak at seven games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-4 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Emerson has already played their next contest (against Bearden), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Strong has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Bradley.
