Basketball Game Preview: North Pocono Trojans vs. Scranton Knights

North Pocono is 2-8 against Scranton since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The North Pocono Trojans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scranton Knights at 6:45 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Monday, North Pocono earned a 60-53 victory over Delaware Valley. The win was all the more spectacular given the Trojans' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 325th, while the Warriors are ranked 149th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Scranton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Valley View by a score of 41-28 on Monday.

The victory made it two in a row for North Pocono and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Scranton, they have also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
