James Madison entered their tilt with Oakton on Thursday with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

James Madison not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Oakton to exactly 20 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-20, 25-20.

Chloe Barth paced James Madison's offense, picking up 12 kills. Barth got some help from Briana Vo and her 17 assists. Barth was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

James Madison's victory bumped their record up to 22-3-1. As for Oakton, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Coincidentally, James Madison and Oakton will both be playing Chantilly the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Warhawks will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
