Basketball Recap: Moffat County Falls Despite Big Games from Kenyen Camilletti and Trayson Carlson

Moffat County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Aspen Skiers, falling 58-32. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Skiers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-48 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Moffat County had strong showings from Trayson Carlson, who posted ten points and five steals, and Kenyen Camilletti, who earned nine points and four steals. Carlson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Moffat County's loss dropped their record down to 3-20. As for Aspen, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 20-3.

Moffat County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Aspen, they will challenge Pagosa Springs on Friday. Aspen will be up against Pagosa Springs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 51 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
